A number of people have approached me about this and it must seem like I'm ignoring everyone-- I promise I'm not! I am so thrilled that anyone likes my crafting enough to want to welcome it into their homes. So a few weeks ago when I decided to take the step to sell my plushies online, I planned to start small with the soot sprites. I was out of town at the time and away from my sewing machine, so I ended up waiting another week until I was at home where I'd have what I needed at hand. Unfortunately when I got home a number of absolutely silly things have been happening to stop my shop from becoming a reality as quickly as I'd like.

For one, I'd always avoided getting a credit card because I know a lot of people that complain constantly about them, so I needed to rectify that. Until then I was going to use my mother's card to receive payments on-- but first I had to research paypal and ebay, etc., to get an idea of what I was getting myself into. Naturally because it was her card, my mom wanted to do more of her own research. That done, I made an account, and now for some reason paypal is taking 6-8 business days to verify anything because I live in Canada. In that time my parents had made plans to go out town, which posed another issue with the monetary side of things. Determined to be productive, I went to at least buy the fabric I would need to get a few projects done. While there, the store clerk tells me that the one fabric I needed the most, black fleece, is completely out of stock at the warehouse and won't have more until summer. ... I don't have words for how crazy it is to me that the biggest fabric supplier in Canada is apparently out of black fleece for 3+ months, but fine. I'm trying to find other places I can order from within the country, but then something else happened.

My computer is suddenly on the brink of hardware death.

I've never had a problem with it before this week when my internet went out for 24 hours and I attempted to fix it. Attempting to reset the internet, my computer shut off.. and began to restart over and over again, uncontrollably. This went on for at least half an hour, and when it finally did stay on, most of my programs were irrepairably altered. My antivirus program is unreachable and unresponsive, all I know is that it says it's off and nothing I do will turn it back on or even open the file. Various programs are now incompatible with my version of Windows 7, even though I've been using them without issue for over a year, it tells me that I would need a different version of the software. Even if I wanted to attempt to get those programs anew, I can't install or uninstall ANYTHING. And my troubleshooter is as unresponsive as my dead antivirus program. I have all new icons on the bottom right corner, and anything that requires updates gets a message saying that my internet isn't connected. The best part might be that the boot file that's supposed to reinstall Windows 7 (because I bought my computer with it preinstalled and therefore have no disks) is now inexplicably gone. I'm really not sure what to do now, but so help me God, I will start this online shop if it kills...my computer.

I don't know if anyone will even read this, but it helped me to get it all out anyway! <3

A photo tells no longer the truth - it just suggests one possibility.

Beauty is the same in itself, it is people who look at it differently.
